YESS Nationals in San Antonio, TX

The USAYESS 2024-25 National Junior Clay Target Championship June 17th – 20th, 2026 @ The National Shooting Complex, in San Antonio, TX.  Flower Mound is scheduled to compete starting on Thursday, June 18th, in the afternoon through Saturday, June 20th.  Full details can be found at: https://www.usayess.org/nationals/

There are NO qualifications or prerequisites.  All current team members are invited, and encouraged, to compete.  Please ensure you are signed up or let Corey Trent know you plan to compete.

Of course if you prefer a different hotel chain or want a VRBO or an AirBnB, you can book anywhere you like.  

The team is paying for 1 golf cart per squad.  

You are welcome to bring your own cart or side by side, but you will need to provide proof of insurance and register with the National Shooting Complex.  

Ammunition is expected to be available for purchase at the National Shooting Complex during the event. Ammunition sales will be limited to competition targets only. No ammunition sales will be available for practice.

Expect to purchase or bring 3-4 cases of ammo for the entire tournament.  There will be opportunities to practice each morning, before our squad times.   

The team typically sponsors and coordinates a catered dinner on 2 evenings.  More details to come on that.

- Breakfast and lunch are on your own.  

There are a lot of fast food restaurants near by and a really nice HEB less than 2 miles from the shooting complex. 

I recommend you bring a cooler for drinks (plenty of water).  In the evenings, we like to gather everyone together and hang out.  This typically involves the team members hanging out, exploring the complex, playing horseshoes or corn hole and the parents enjoying their favorite adult (or non adult) beverage.
